Da Chozen 1z
A debate's been raging all day over at Citizen of the Month about whether or not “the Jewish fundamentalist belief of being God’s chosen people has allowed Israel to believe it can do as it will." Neilochka, the blog's author and one of God's chosen people, calls this statement, "horrendous, a total misinterpretation," and explains, "The concept of the chosen people is completely bound to the idea of keeping the commandments that bring a people closer to God."
I've only known Neil for a short while, and by "known" I mean read his blog and pictured him in women's panties, but he seems like a nice guy. So I'd like to take him at his word on this whole "chosen ones" thing. But when I found myself at a stoplight behind this guy on the way home from the grocery store this evening, I couldn't help wondering, Is this man in front of me in the laser blue 1975 Cutlass with "Da Chozen 1z" emblazened across the tinted back window "completely bound to the idea of keeping the commandments that bring a people closer to God?"
He must have seen me snapping these pictures because, as I passed him in the left turning lane, he cranked his neck out the window, intimidating me with a long stare through gold-rimmed, diamond-studded sunglasses. Something tells me this guy thinks he can do as he will.
